Due to this change, I have some problems to properly tag heritage in Belgium. For Flanders, the list is maintained by the institute "Onroerend Erfgoed". The complete list can also be found on wikipedia, e.g. https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lijst_van … in_Schilde.
Onroerend erfgoed distinguishes between protected items (which I map as heritage = 4) and others (less important, which I map as historic = yes).

Due to the above change, some less important buildings are visible on higher zoom levels, e.g. http://geschichtskarten.openstreetmap.d … =B0000FFFT

Maybe I'm using the historic=yes and heritage=4 tags in the wrong way, but right now the map makes no sense for me. Something protected by the government should be more important than an item that is listed as "just old" (old being relative 🙂 ).

How would you guys map those Onroerend Erfgoed items ?
