Germany has two systems of "bottle" recycling: single-use and multi-use. Stores (of reasonable size) have to - as far as i know - accept the classes of bottles they sell, so if they sell multi-use bottles they then have to accept all multi-use bottles, regardless of brand.

Accepted brands seems like a very volatile category, because the store may probably change sold brands rather quickly, so the information gets outdated fast.

I don't know if tagging bottle return machines in germany is worthwhile (because nearly every supermarket has them), so i will refrain from further commenting.
