Hi everyone! I am the author of the changeset https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/90978611. I wanted to discuss these changes with the community and unfortunately, I chose the wrong place to do it (https://t.me/OSM_de/41579). This group was found here https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Lis … m_accounts. Sorry!
The problem with incorrect wikidata still exists in Germany, and I would like to provide you with all the information I have to solve it.
It was noticed that most of the incorrect tags were added by user nyuriks three years ago (for example, one of the changesets - https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/52342202). I have a spreadsheet (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ … sp=sharing) where I validated all the cases I deleted. I hope this helps you. Thank you, waiting for your response.

Thank you for coming here to discuss the issue. I agree that wrong wikidata links should be removed. On the other hand, your edit reportedly also removed wikipedia links, and for wikipedia articles it seems less clear that they are "wrong". We cannot force our structure on wikipedia, and if they choose to have a single article for something which is 2 objects in OSM, it doesn't seem wrong to link from both objects to the same article.
In wikidata, objects pretend to be about real world "things" (although they basically all started as representations of wikipedia articles), so it seems more feasible to state that a wikidata object aims at representing something different than a specific OSM object (there could be partial matching also here though).

Welcome, too.
I do not doubt that there are many wrong wikidata links but I think this is an ongoing project which will not be do in one rush and at one time. Therefore I think it would be helpful to have a project page on the OSM wiki which describes the criteria for removing, keeping or adjusting.

As you seem to be an employed mapper, this project should be described on the wiki anyway and you should use the proper #hashtag in your changesets.
